Yes, we had transfers today. I'm staying in Montelimar and my lovely companion is going to Guacimo as a Sister Training Leader! I am so proud of her! It was hard saying goodbye and even harder seeing her say goodbye to her converts. She's going to do such a good job as a leader!
This week was a good week! V and C are doing really well as well as G. The members are amazing, as always.
We also found a family on Friday. It was a pretty interesting story...
A couple weeks back, we spoke with a man named F on the street. He told us that he had received sister missionaries in the past and would be fine with receiving us again. He told us more-or-less where he lived (because the addresses here are not very exact. It can be, for example: 50 metros down this street, in front of the mango tree, a green house with a white dog. I'm serious, these are the directions they give us here. Ha ha!), and we told him we would be visiting him in the coming week. Well, the next week, we went looking for him. We came to a couple of apartments and the man that lives on the first level told us that F lived above him but that he wasn't home. We left a note for him and later that week he responded us through a text message saying that they would love to have us over on Friday. Friday came and we were at their house at 5 PM. But, when F came down the stairs.. it was a different F! I thought that maybe I didn't recognize him and followed my companion into their home. Little did I know, my companion thought the same thing! When we entered, we met his wife and his daughter. They are so sweet! We started talking like normal, thanking them for letting us in, when F asked us how we got his name and address. It was a face-palm moment. We told him the truth that we were actually looking for a different F, but that we felt that it was no coincidence that we had met them. They were fine with that and we were able to have a good visit. The Lord works in very mysterious ways. He loves ALL of His children and knows who is prepared for the gospel. We're excited to see them this coming week!
J is preparing to be baptized this week! We are really excited for him!
The mission will be splitting in 3 weeks! I can't believe it! The Lord really loves this country. It's a blessed place. I love this gospel! There is so much peace and protection that comes from the covenants we make with God.
I love you all! <3
