Not a whole lot to report this week but it's still been a good week! Since it's P-Day, we are able to go to Brigham's Landing for lunch and we went to Great Harvest. And oh man am I music sick! It's like being homesick but just for music! I knew almost every song they played there and you best believe I sang them! haha It was super hard not to start dancing.. ;) Haha In a district of just sisters, some crazy stuff can happen! Haha here are a couple:We get mad tired in the MTC! Our first week, Hna. Best was so tired that she took a bathroom break in the middle of studying and fell asleep on the toilet for 30 MINUTES!!! It was hilarious! Then Hna. Ellis punched me in the face!! Well.. not on purpose.. haha she was moving her arms like a crazy person.. because she is crazy!... and I was stretching forward and my face hit her hand.. really hard.. haha ;) But it was super funny.. we all ended up on the floor laughing.Hna. Jensen injured her hand during volleyball because Elder Patterson spiked it on her and part of it turned purple! So he bought her a pack of Oreos and left them in our class with an apology written on a sticky note! The elders in my zone are so great! I love them all! Which reminds me that two of our districts left on Sunday/Monday morning! It was bittersweet and I'll miss them all!I'm so grateful for Branch Presidency wives! They give some of the best "mom hugs"! Especially when I need them! I love my Branch Presidency! They're all so inspiring and smart!I saw Grandma Whitman at the temple today! She works on Wednesdays! Who would've thought?! I was signing up to do sealings with my district when she walked into the room! I had to keep myself from screaming as I hugged her! I didn't want to let go! I love my family and I'm so grateful to have so much family always around me! Even if it's not in person. After committing Luisa to baptism, we don't quite know where to go. We have a "new" investigator. It's just our other teacher, Hno. Bliler, but he is playing the role of his less active brother, Jaime. I enjoy teaching him because we can connect on a lot of things and we've spoken a lot about trials, which I have a true testimony of! At first I was a bit scared to teach a less active because he's already been to church and back and he doesn't have a real relationship with God but I went forth and shared the message I had with him. I had him read Mosiah 24:14, which is one of my favorite scriptures about how the Lord will not necessarily take away our trials but He will ease the burden! He read 14 out loud and before going on asked if he could read it again. I guess it really struck him! The spirit breaks down walls!
I love this church and I love you all! Keep the faith! Do. Not. Doubt!
Con amor,
Hermana Whitman
